Hi. I'm Fadekemi. You can also call me Kedaf.  I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Storytelling by elders (griots) was a big part of my upbringing in Nigeria. As a child, I used to write and sketch these stories on scrap paper. Much later, when I discovered iMovie, I became infatuated and began to use video to tell stories. Later, I decided to pursue the study and practice of filmmaking and ended up at Boston University. Here, I've began to hone my skills in cinematography and editing. My goal as a filmmaker is to bring poignant and exciting stories to life through powerful visuals.

Beyond film, I love experimenting with visual mediums including photography, digital art, and motion design to fuel creativity.
